ECO TRUSS HANGERS
eCo Truss Hangers provide a secure means of support for the connection of beams, joists or trusses to other components. Whether you require a mini Hanger for a light load or a 76mm hanger for a heavily load joist or truss, you will feel safe knowing that all of Gang-Nail® Zimbabwe’s Truss Hangers have been individually tested and manufactured under ISO9001:2008 guidelines.
All eCo Truss Hangers are easily fixed to other components using Permfix nails, bolts or a combination of both.
ECO CLEATS
eCo Heavy duty type H cleats are designed to ensure sound connections at truss and girder intersections.
These Cleats can be specified in a variety of different configurations to suit different loads and structural arrangements.
Three alternative vertical flanges types cater for either 5, 8 or 12 M12 bolts.
Base plates are designed to cater for multiple incoming trusses.
BOLTS, WASHERS AND NAILS
Gang-Nail® Zimbabwe carries a large range of black or galvanized bolts to be able to facilitate connections between timber to timber or steel to timber.
Ranging from 100mm to 240mm, we cater for single ply to quadruple ply girders.
Washers are supplied in either 36mm square or 40mm square galvanised or hot rolled material and are 4mm thick.
All of our nails are ring shanked and are distek coated for additional rust protection.
eCo Permfix nails are available in 35×3.15mm.
Please remember that all our hangers achieve better design values when eCo Permfix nails are used.
BRACING PRODUCTS
Bracing Strap or Speedbrace is a pre-punched galvanised metal tension bracing strip designed to brace top chords, bottom chords and webs. The bracing and connection details are designed to provide equivalent bracing and stiffening properties to timber bracing.
ECO PURLIN, and HURRICANE CLIPS
eCo Purlin Clips provide a solution for purlin to rafter connections under normal wind conditions. A single purlin clip is required per connection except at the apex, eaves and gables, where a pair of purlin clips must be used
eCo Hurricane and Purlin Clips are attached using eCo Permfix nails.
HOOP IRONS WALL TIES
Wall ties, sometimes called ‘brick ties’, are used in buildings with cavity walls. They are used to join the two leaves of a cavity wall together, allowing the two parts to act as a homogeneous unit. Hidden from view after construction, wall ties play a vital role in ensuring the stability of a building.
